I finally made it up to Albion Basin for my usual July mountain/flower photos. It was closed until a week ago because of snow, with kitchen remodeling, work and family obligations, last night was my first opportunity to get away.
The light was soft, I was hoping for some rain to keep the wildflowers going
for a while but no luck, just enough clouds to ruin the light. It is very dry so
I don't think the flowers will last long even though the snow just finished
melting. It was still nice to get up there and do some shooting. I'm hoping on
getting up there a few more times and at least get my yearly shot that I do from
the same spot. I was going to do it last night be the light was so soft I
decided to only hike part way up.
